Beaufort War Hospital Gallery
Bristol Lunatic Asylum (Glenside) was converted into a millitary hospital during World War One at the expense of the War Office. Stanley Spencer was stationed as a medical orderly at Beaufort War Hospital, but has not yet been found in any of the images we have in our collection.
